ADDICTION RELAPSE PREVENTION
Data has shown that opioid treatment has a relapse rate of 50%-80%. Drug related deaths have been increasing steadily over the past 5 years. This study will focus on adding neuroscience to traditional drug treatment in order to achieve improved relapse prevention for 100 addicts in 20 facilities.
FIREFIGHTER HEALTH INITIATIVE
Firefighting personnel are exposed to stress, trauma, and environmental threats leading to high rates of mental and physical health concerns. This study will focus on measuring the effects of brain performance programs for reducing the physical and mental concerns of 150 firefighters.
POLICE STRESS RESILIENCY
Police suicide is nearly triple the rate of officers killed in the line of duty. This crucial study will provide insight of implementing neuroscience to improve the mental health and wellbeing of 100 police officers.
YOUTH SUICIDE PREVENTION
Child depression and suicide rates have soared over the past 8 years. Researchers found that teens who spend five or more hours per day on their electronic devices are 71 percent more likely to have one risk factor for suicide. Nationally there are 3,000 teenage suicide attempts per day. This study will focus on suicide prevention and electronic addiction within school districts having children on suicide watch.
SEX TRAFFICKING SURVIVOR REHABILITATION
The state department estimates that between 15,000-50,000 women and girls are trafficked each year into the United States. In the U.S., sex traffickers usually focus on people with a history of physical, mental or sexual abuse. This study will focus on an integrative program combining a sober living environment with neuroscience as a way to reduce reversion.
VETERAN WORKFORCE PERFORMANCE
Veterans are positioned to be among the greatest assets in our nation’s workforce. They are wired to serve and very well trained to be high achievers and top performers. Unfortunately, due to transitional struggles and residual war stress, veterans tend to be underpaid and underperformers. This study will provide data on measurable performance improvements in the workplace.
MILITARY VETERAN PTSD
The VA continues to state that they receive reports of 20 suicides a day. 8 out of every 100 Veterans suffer from PTSD. Our study will measure the effects of brain performance for the reduction of nightmares, flashbacks and trigger events as overall quality of life improvement.
FOSTER KIDS RESILIENCY
There are 437,000 foster kids who have a 25% percent chance of becoming involved in the criminal justice system within two years of leaving foster care. The focus of this study is to provide brain performance programs to 200 foster kids in facilities throughout the U.S. to improve their future success potential.
SOCIAL SCIENCE/NEUROSCIENCE INTEGRATION
There are over 500,000 mental health professionals in the United States who are working to help the 40 million Americans suffering from psychological stress, anxiety and depression. This study will provide opportunities for 50 mental health practices to implement brain performance programs as a tool to achieve faster outcomes.
REMOTE RURAL VETERAN SUPPORT
There are five million veterans living in rural America who face many challenges of receiving benefits and access to health and wellness programs. This study will focus on providing 300 rural veterans with access to tele-remote brain performance programs in order to improve sleep, focus, reduce trauma and create overall wellbeing.
